Fair housing
Last updated October 22, 2026
Equal Housing Opportunity. CrewStay360 lists crashpads across the United States. We support fair housing, and every owner who publishes a pad page agrees to follow the fair housing laws that apply where their pad is.
The law
The federal Fair Housing Act makes it illegal to discriminate in housing because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status or disability. States and cities add more protected characteristics. Washington, for example, also protects marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, honorably discharged veteran or military status, citizenship or immigration status, and the use of a trained dog guide or service animal. Other places protect age, source of income and more.
These laws cover advertising too: a pad page may not state a preference or limitation that the law where the pad is doesn’t allow.
The laws have narrow exceptions for some shared living arrangements, often only when the owner lives in the home and shares it. Each owner is responsible for knowing which rules apply to their pad.
Crew only
Pads on CrewStay360 are for working airline crew. That’s about your job, and an owner may ask to see crew ID. It is never a reason to turn anyone away because of a protected characteristic.
Disability and accommodations
If you have a disability, you can ask a pad’s owner for a reasonable accommodation (a change to a rule or policy) or a reasonable modification (a change to the space). Ask the owner directly. If you need help reaching them, email support@crewstay360.com.
Screening and income
Many states and cities limit how landlords may consider sources of income, screening reports and criminal history. Owners must follow the rules where their pad is.
Report a concern
If you think a pad page or an owner on CrewStay360 has discriminated, tell us at support@crewstay360.com. We’ll look into it and may remove the page.
